I recently came across a picture of a four strand waterfall braid and absolutely fell in love with it. I immediately knew it was something I wanted to try and couldn’t wait to find some free time to practice. I actually had to look up a few tutorials to see if they could teach me how to do it. Turns out, my hands got all tangled up and I couldn’t figure out how to do it following their style.
I decided to look at it differently and instead follow my own steps for a regular waterfall braid. It took a few tries but I soon figured out my own way to achieve this gorgeous braid. The trick I found was not dropping a waterfall piece until the third stitch, otherwise it can end up looking a little off. Watch the tutorial below and then give it a try! Of course, I would have to say this braid is definitely for the more advanced braiders out there but I would love to know what you think!
I am also super excited to say that today’s tutorial is a collaboration with the lovely and talented Annie from AnniesForgetMeKnots. We have decided to team up to bring you two new, gorgeous hairstyles to add to your repertoire. I will be showing you how to create a four-strand waterfall braid and Annie will transition it into a beautiful updo.
