Braid 4-Fishtail French Braid Headband is the straight forward version of Braid 5-Double Fishtail Braids from 20 Braids for Spring and the shortened version of the regular Fishtail French Braid. This look could also easily be added in with Four Headband Braids!
I absolutely love fishtail braids and think they are the ultimate go-to for summer. There are a plethora of ways to style them too whether it is in an updo, part down, french braided or even, my personal favorite, as a side braid.
These steps will teach you how you can achieve this fishtail french braid.
Step 1 / Begin by taking a three inch section of hair, on the heavy side of the part, and divide it into two halves.
Step 2 / Take a small section from the back strand and cross it over to the other side. Then take a smaller strand from the front section and cross it over to the other strand. Check out this video to see how to fishtail french braid.
Step 3 / Next, take a section of hair from the outside of the braid.
Step 4 / Cross the strand over to the top and add it into the other side.
Step 5 / Next, take a piece from the other side.
Step 6 / Cross the strand over the top and add it into the other strand.
Step 7 / Continue braiding until reaching the back of the left ear.
Step 8 / Pin the hair in place with a hair pin or clip.
