Reading is wonderful. No movie, shopping trip, or makeup in the world could replace a good book. It takes you to places you’ve never been. Opens your mind to new adventures, teaches you things you wouldn’t otherwise learn, transforms you somewhere else, indulging in the delights of a characters experiences or mishaps.
BeforeĀ our trip to Colorado, I took a trip to the library and stocked up on books. Five to be exact. It seemed extreme as I loaded them into the car, half hiding them from AJ so he wouldn’t poke fun, but read them I did; four to be exact. Every morning, venturing out, exploring Colorado country while finding a comfy place to cozy up to one of my books. They went cover to cover, never being put them down, always one neatly tucked under my arm or in my bag, pulling it out when a quiet moment arose.
Within reading a few words on a single page you are transported somewhere new. Your surroundings forgotten, your worries lost. A heaven on earth and one of life’s simplest pleasures; truly magnificent.
you look so sweet !
and love your lip color!
I agree :) I don’t read nearly as much as I used to, but when I do, I value the opportunity, Books and I had a little fallout, because I got frustrated, there always seemed to be an endless list of books I felt like I had to read! But now I just take it one thing at a time.
You look so classy and cute :)
