When I was about to hit “confirm” on the purchase of this dress my inner Melissa whispered, “don’t do it.” I am a number one pansy when it comes to prints, colors, and textures. Certifiable wimp. My closet is full of black shirts and white cotton tees. You wouldn’t believe it unless you saw it for yourself. My friend didn’t either until she helped me move and hung up all my clothes. “You reeeeeally have no color.”

Well, let me tell you. For those of you out there who don’t like color either there is hope. This dress finally arrived, after a long week of waiting. Out of the bag it came, I shimmied it on, zipped up the back, and glanced in the mirror. I couldn’t believe how it looked and liked it! My perspective on color and pattern changed with the pop of a button.
