Step 1 / Begin by spraying the roots with the L’Oreal dry shampoo. This helps refresh the hair and soak up any extra oil when your hair is due to be washed. Even if the hair is clean it’s perfect for adding a bit of texture and grip to the hair.

Step 2 / Next, pick up sections of hair at the crown and backcomb the hair, brushing the hair near the root downwards, to add a bit of extra volume and volume. Then spray the roots underneath with a volume spray to set the backcombing so it doesn’t fall flat throughout the day.

Step 3 / Pick up a section of hair at the crown and twist it together at the back of the head. Then twist the hair together and wrap it clock-wise into a bun pinning the twist as you go.

Step 4 / Continue wrapping and pinning the section until the hair forms a bun. Then pick up a new section on the right side and combine it with the ends from the bun.

Step 5 / Wrap this second section into another bun under the first, slightly towards the left, and pin it against the head. Then combine the remaining hair together and twist it all together.

Step 6 / Wrap the twist into a third bun, under the previous two and pin it with several more bobby pins. Set the style with hairspray and smooth down any flyaways.
