Now that Summer is coming to an end it’s the perfect time to change up your typical routine for the new season ahead. In today’s tutorial, I am partnering with Sally Beauty to show you the perfect beauty cocktail for creating three different styles that build on each other so you’ll have three ways to style your hair for three different days.

Supplies:
- Beyond the Zone Turn up the Heat Flat Iron Protection Spray
- Ion Titanium Platinum Pro Curling Iron
- Beyond the Zone Rock On Flexible Hold Hairspray
- Beyond the Zone Rock On Dry Shampoo
- Clear elastic bands
- Meta Grip Premium Bob Pins
Step 1 / Working with clean hair, start by spraying Beyond the Zone Turn up the Heat Protection Spray all over the hair. This helps create slip making it easy to straighten and curl the hair while protecting it from the heat and leaving it soft and more manageable.
Step 2 / Section the hair above the ears, clipping off the top portion. Grab the Ion Titanium Platinum Pro Curling iron and divide off a 1” section of hair. Curl this section away from the face by clamping it in the middle, rolling it up to the roots, holding for 5 seconds, then dropping the iron to the ends, wrapping it up a second time and holding it for 5-8 seconds before releasing the section.
Step 3 / Repeat the previous step curling all the hair from this bottom layer, alternating the direction of the curl either towards the face or away from the face.
Step 4 / Let down the rest of the hair and continue curling it in small sections alternating the curls away from or towards the face.
Step 5 / Once all of the hair is curled, spray the curls with the Beyond the Zone Rock On Flexible Hold Hairspray. This is a quick-drying formula that will set the curls while leaving the hair soft and touchable.
Step 1 / Prep the hair by spraying it with the Beyond the Zone Rock On Dry Shampoo. This will help revive the curls from yesterday so they look refreshed.
Step 2 / Create a part on the right side. Divide off a small section of hair on the left side of the part, leaving out any shorter bang pieces. Create a dutch braid, crossing the sides under the middle, and adding in hair until it reaches the left temple. Then braid the section to the bottom and tie off the end with an elastic band.
Step 3 / Create a similar dutch braid on the right side of the part, adding in three pieces to the braid before braiding to the bottom and securing the end with a second elastic band.
Step 4 / Pick up a larger section underneath the braid on the left side, braiding this into a regular three-strand braid before securing the end with an elastic band.
Step 5 / Braid a fourth braid on the right side of the head underneath the braid created in step 2.
Step 6 / Bring all four braids around the back of the head and tie them together. Remove the elastics from the individual braids and brush through them.
Step 7 / Wrap a small section of hair around the elastic band and secure it underneath with a bobby pin.
Step 1 / Beginning with the braids created in the previous steps, divide off two small sections of hair from the nape of the neck on the left and right side. Bring them together underneath the braids and tie them together with an elastic band.
Step 2 / Take the remaining hair and tie it into a low ponytail. Then gently pull the elastic band down to the ends; careful not to pull it completely off.
Step 3 / Wrap the ponytail up towards the back of the head, curling the ends underneath themselves to create a rolled effect.
Step 4 / Tuck the hair into the braids creating a smooth, low bun. Slide bobby pins around the bun to help hold it in place.
Step 5 / Set the style in place using the Beyond the Zone Rock On Flexible Hold Hairspray.
