Ombre Orange Lip Trick is a great way to spice up the orange lip trend. I am pretty much infatuated with the look and saw a similar one on an artist at the MAC counter. I asked her what she was wearing and she had on Ruby Woo and Sultana Lip Pencil.
I wanted to stick with an orange lip so I picked up Lady Danger, which so many of you recommended to me after talking about the Ultimate Orange Lipstick Guide, so thank you! I absolutely love the shade!
Grab your favorite orange lipstick and one that is berry red or maroon and follow these quick steps to get your own ombre lips.
1. Smooth the orange shade over your entire lips. For extra precision start with a liner. This shade, Lady Danger, is so silky smooth that it applies perfectly without one.
2. Next, grab your berry shade, I’m using Sultana, MAC Pantent Polish Lip Pencil, and slide it only on the outer corners of your mouth. Be careful not to get any in the very center.
3. Then gently pat your lips together.
4.Tip! For a mellowed look, blot your lips onto a tissue before heading out.

That color looks great on you! I have such a hard time with finding the right “bright” color for my skin tone. Love the ombre look too!

Thank you, Rebecca! It takes some getting used to at first; that’s for sure! <3
