Have you ever wanted to do the Old Hollywood waves from the ’40’s?
This is something that I’ve always wanted to try but was too afraid to because my mom curled my hair this way when I was little and I never thought it suited me. For the most part I was right and as I sat in front of the mirror with my hair all neatly curled I knew there was something missing.
Then I remembered how in some of the pictures I’d seen one side of the hair was pulled back with a pretty pin. I didn’t have anything vintage lying around but decided on this really cute pin to accomplish it. It ended up being the trick I needed to wear this type of hairstyle without feeling like I was back in the 2nd grade.
I’m curious to hear if this is a hairstyle you’ve ever tried out and if you’d ever wear this on a daily basis?

Very pretty and elegant hair style! I usually curl my hair in the other direction, but I will definitely give this a try!

very pretty.
my hair doesn’t hold curls at all. it would take me 2 hours to curl it and the curls would be gone within 10 minutes. too long and heavy. i am seriously thinking about cutting it for some time now but still can’t get myself to make an appointment at my stylist.
