A pair of black jeans and oversized sweater is a great staple ensemble but taking a few extra steps to add a pair of contrasting boots, seasonal scarf, and headband braid can really help elevate an otherwise basic look. I love the cooler weather right now because it’s the perfect opportunity to throw on that one extra layer to add a bit of pattern and texture to a simple, staple outfit.
