Pairing a bold color with a pattern, like stripes, is a great way to create a fun outfit with a hint of interest. Patterns are the easiest way to dress up a casual outfit and you would be surprised the impact a simple striped shirt can make to any ensemble. Add in a cute headband crown braid and you are ready to hit the town, finish up those last minute errands, or just meets friends for a casual lunch.
This is my favorite red coat, last seen here, and a fun braid. I don’t actually have a tutorial for this braid {I know, I know, I obviously need one!} but there is a dutch version so check that out and just pull the hair into the braid from the top instead of sliding it under. Need a refresher on french vs. dutch? Check out this video for the deets. AJ, came across an old pic of me on instagram and said “whoa, you used to be skinny!” Hahaha, yep, this big belly is hard to miss!
