This faux shave dutch braid is great for giving your look an edgy appeal. It looks incredibly cool especially with long flowing locks swept to one side. Of course, actually shaving your head takes an immense amount of commitment. Luckily, a quick braid on one side of the head can get the same result without chopping all your hair off. A braid is easy to do and a great way to sport the “faux shave”.
Start by parting your hair in a deep side part. A dramatic part is a key step to this style. Take a section hair near the ear and separate the hair into three sections to begin a dutch braid. When you reach the back of the ear continue in a regular braid until it reaches around the back of the head to the other side. Place a pin at the end to secure it against the head and cover part of the braid with the hair above it. Finish with a few spritzes of hair spray.

Missy can you do this style to both sides? A viking inspired braid?
