This hairstyle has been done before, possibly a trillion times over, but it’s great to wear when you want a loose casual hairstyle but a little something added to a simple side braid. The french braid is loose and gets looser as the day wears on. It can be styled with a dutch braid instead or even a french braid and fishtail combo. Adding a ribbon on the end also adds a little something extra but either way it’s a great hairstyle to try this Fall.

To complete the look:

1 / With a side part, take a section of hair at the front of the hair above your right ear and begin french braiding trailing it down to the bottom of your left ear.

2 / Braid the rest of the hair down into a normal braid and secure with an elastic.

3 / Loosen the braid by gently pulling out the sides and mist with a bit of hairspray.
