I pinned this style two different ways when I was trying it out. Once I pulled the tails under the french braid and pinned and the other way I pulled the tails over the top and pinned. I believe the first picture shows the braid pulled over the top and the third pictures shows it pulled under. Either way works and just depends on your preference. I also didn’t part my hair at all so that created a more disheveled separation between the two french braids.
