Fall is in full swing and with that comes gorgeous colors and cooler temps. My skin and hair also notice the dip in season because it instantly becomes a lot drier especially through the ends. Since I color my hair I am always checking labels and making sure they’re going to be a good fit for my blonde highlights. Color protection is always a must for me because who wants to spend big bucks on hair appointments only to have the color stripped from their hair?
When I’m looking for a great shampoo and conditioner, I love to get something that will color protect while also adding moisture to my hair. Dry, brittle hair means breakage and that’s the ultimate no when trying to grow your hair long or keep long hair strong.
Since using Garnier’s® Whole Blends™, I’ve already noticed how silky and smooth it leaves my hair.
I’ll be honest and tell you at first I was a skeptic about the shampoo and conditioner. What worried me most was whether it would dull my color and leave it feeling dry. It did neither of those things and I am in love with how the Color Care line with Argan Oil & Cranberry extracts set smells! It reminded me of this concoction my mom used to simmer on the stove during this time of year. Pure heaven, let me tell you.
Every time I use them in the shower all these sweet memories coming rushing back to me and I just feel so happy inside! It reminds me how important it is to make traditions and I want more than anything to create holiday memories for Cohen to remember.
Garnier® Whole Blends™ Color Care with Argan Oil & Cranberry Extracts, smells exactly like Fall in a bottle. After using both the shampoo and conditioner, I could immediately tell a difference in the feel of my hair. Not only was it soft from the Argan oil, but shiny and manageable as well. Not only do I get beautiful hair, I can maintain the beautiful new color as well.
If you are looking for a color care system that will keep your hair vibrant through the Fall & Winter months, I highly recommend picking up the Garnier® Whole Blends™ set!

We love pigtails in the fall!
I like to do a hair mask with egg yolks or with mayonnaise. And leave it in my hair about an hour before taking a shower. It leaves my hair silky soft and shiney. ?
I also really like to use a homemade clarifying shampoo for a super-clean and frizz free look. I also find that it gives me shinier hair so win-win!:)
For the winter months, I love to deep condition my hair to prevent it from drying out and put argan oil in to keep it healthy and shiny! (especially on the ends:)

I use coconut oil every other day
Wash, condition and air dry.
I wash my hair less (if I can get away with it) and when it’s almost dry, I’ll put a dollop of conditioner in my palm, rub palms together, and massage this super-thin layer of conditioner into my hair. Fly-away are gone, static doesn’t happen, and my hair has a super pretty sheen to it.

During the colder months I leave coconut oil mixed with some essential oils in my hair over night once every few weeks.
Trimming my hair and argon oil!
Extra conditioning helps my hair in the dry winter months!!
Well for Christmas I got this box of hair masks so lately I’ve been using those and it’s made my hair a lot healthier and smoother. Also sometimes I’ll just let it air dry instead of blow drying it especially if I’m gonna be straightening or curling it.
In the winter I don’t color my hair as often to give it a break after getting lighter from the sun in the summer! Then I air dry each time I shower, and try to use a tad less shampoo or wash my hair less often in order to not strip my hair of it’s natural oils and nutrients and keep the moisture better.
in the colder months i enjoy using masks to treat my hair and rehydrate it to prevent it from drying out and splitting at the ends :)
I always get a trim but also I like wearing my hair up in a braid of come sort.

I actually wash my hair about 50% less in the fall/winter than I do in the spring/summer because of the lowered humidity. This helps keep my itchy scalp in check.
I like to use moisturizing shampoo and conditioner during cooler weather.

I usually let my hair air dry in the warm weather, but in colder temps I blow dry. So I use extra conditioner in the fall and winter.

Well, as a guy maintenance on my hair stays about the same year round with a trim every 6-8 weeks. My wife usually gets her hair “fixed” from the summer sun damage!
For the Fall this year, I went with a red coloring to my hair. I definitely use products that add more moisturizer.

I like to get highlights in my hair during the Fall because the color fades and looks dull and I get a really nice haircut and I condition my hair really well!
I use coconut oil in my hair once a week to keep it soft and moisturized,
I live in the south, so the best part of fall for my hair is the lower humidity. Every year I treat myself to blow outs and I can ditch the flat iron (or at least use it less!) I also tend to deep condition my hair more in the fall and winter, especially since I color my hair as well! Gotta keep it looking fresh and hydrated even when the moisture disappears from the air! I’m always looking for new conditioners to try too, I’ll definitely have to check Whole Blends out!

Missy Sue,
I love that this product smells like fall, and has color care in the shampoo and argon oil in the conditioner. I’m going grocery shopping today and will pick up this duo. Thank you!
