Spring is officially in the air! Which is actually kind of a scary thought considering it’s only March. Coming from Utah, it is still definitely Winter this time of year but here in Mississippi the trees are already blossoming and the temps are hitting in the low 80’s. I can only imagine what the Summers are going to be like here; plenty of people have warned me but I think I am finally understanding the full tilt of it.
Pairing cardigans with dresses in the Spring is one of my favorite go-to styles. It’s cool during the day and the cardigan adds an extra layer of warmth in the evenings. This cardigan is super soft and lightweight so naturally I even love to wear it around the house.
This dress is a new favorite and one thing I love about it is how casual it fits. It’s a little looser making it more comfortable for every day. It also reaches all the way to my knees which I love. I always choose the ‘tall’ option when ordering dresses from Old Navy and 9 times out of 10 they perfectly above the knee.
This bag was a recent splurge over Christmas and I couldn’t be happier with it. I bought while it was marked down on one of the super sales and find that it is the perfect neutral bag that goes with just about everything in my closet. I linked to the newer version since this exact style is no longer available.
Lastly, these boots have become my signature look. I quickly fell for the light taupe color and knew they’d be a statement piece. I literally wear them every chance I get and love that they complement my style so easily.

Missy – how tall are you? I looked at the dress your modeling online, and the pictures show the dress way above the knee, and on you it’s below your knees. Are the online pictures possibly incorrect?, or is the model incredibly tall???? I would actually like this dress if it was BELOW the knee better….
Hi Denise, I am 5’2 but I purchased the ‘tall’ option so the dress would hit longer on me.
