It’s that time of the month for the Ipsy Glam bag review! I’ve started doing these on a regular basis and really look forward to getting my bag each month. Ipsy costs $10 a month and you receive a mix of full-size and sample size products. Each bag is an assortment of products so you may receive different products than I show here. Either way it’s super fun to see what other people get! Check out May, April, March, and February to see what else has come from Ipsy!
Befine Cucumber Facial Mask – This was the first item I pulled out of the bag and was slightly disappointed when I thought it was moisturizer. I’ve received so many of those I wasn’t too keen on one more. Turned out though it was a facial mask so that was really nice. This is a cooling mask that revitalizes, repairs and rejuvenates the complexion. Also, I found their website hard to navigate which was a bummer ):
Tre’StiQue Mini Shadow Crayon, $11 – I was surprised by this product at first since it looks like it doesn’t have a cap. Once I pulled off the top and saw that the actual product was inside I thought it was pretty cool. The color is fairly dark so I’ll need to remember to be light-handed when applying it. I do love how easy it is to blend. I rarely use products like this though so I wonder if I’ll remember it’s in my makeup drawer.
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, $42 – This is such a cute little sample but I actually own this in the larger trial size and am not a fan. My skin is naturally dry so I thought it would help add some moisture to my skin but it just feels oily and slick and makes applying makeup difficult. I’ll have to find someone who would want this so I can give it to them.
IT Cosmetics Brow Power Universal Eyebrow Pencil in Universal Taupe, $12 – I love eyebrow products and was so excited to receive this. It is super convenient that it comes with a brush on one end and the product on the other. I was scared at first to see which shade it was but was so happy when I saw it was a color that I could actually use! So many times I receive products for brunettes and I always just throw them away out of annoyance or give them to a friend if I know they’re a good product.
Formula X Power Source Nail Color – A cute, teeny tiny sample bottle but the perfect shade for Summer. I really love bright, bold toes during the warmer months so I was excited about this polish.
Looking back over this month’s bag, I was really only excited about the brow power product so kind of a bummer bag in my opinion. Tallying up the price of the products though, this bag was worth the $10 price.
