I love wearing gold makeup and it is especially complementary to my warm undertones and blue eyes. It works well on people with cooler tones and every shade of eye color as well.

Summer makeup is all about fresh, glowy skin and hints of gold shimmer help make your skin look radiant.  Here are three wyas you can add glints of gold into your Summer beauty routine.

GOLDEN EYES

Step 1 / Begin by gently applying a gold, creme eyeshadow to the lids. I love Good as Marigold by Flower cosmetics because it has a very creamy texture and is easy to apply.

Step 2 / Sweep a little bit of gold shadow over the top to intensify the color. I am using Half Baked from the Naked Palette.

Step 3 / Darken the crease with a hint of brown shadow; stay on the warmer side with something like MAC Texture or MAC Soft Brown.

Step 4 / Line the lashes with an eyeliner; I love NARS Eye Liner in Black Moon.

Step 5 / Finish with a swipe of mascara; I am wearing Benefit They’re Real, my fave! 

ZIPPED LIP

Step 1 / Swipe on a soft pink or nude lip shade like MAC Pink Pearl Pop.

Step 2 / Grab a gold based gloss and sweep it over the lips; I love NARS Gold Digger.

Step 3 / Take your favorite gold creme shadow and gently dab the shade over the top to create a shimmer of color.

HEART OF GOLD

Step 1 / Scoop a bit of the gold creme shadow onto the palm.

Step 2 / With a little squirt of your favorite lotion, mix the two textures together.

Step 3 / Gently pat the color over the collar bone and down onto the chest for a glint of gold.
