March beauty favorites this month are all necessities in your daily beauty routine. Most of these are basics with a few that are an added bonus but still very necessary when you want beautiful, glowing skin.
Estee Lauder Double Wear – Look no further for the best long-wearing foundation on the market. I was truly amazed at the lasting power of this makeup. It dries so quickly that it won’t smudge or smear throughout the day when you touch your face. It wears like a second skin, smoothing discoloration and hiding blemishes. If you have dry skin like I do, it can be a little more drying than regular foundations so I’d only recommend this if the long-wear aspect is more important. I wear the shade 1W1 Bone.
Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer – A convenient little duo that boasts a creamy concealer and setting powder. I love Bobbi Brown cosmetics for their claim to a more natural makeup look. This concealer is great for hiding under eye circles and being such a light shade, Porcelain/white, it is actually lighter than my skin tone so I can achieve that glow around the eyes and down the center of my face. Since this product offers a more natural appearance, it has a lighter coverage.
Laura Geller Balance-n-Brighten – With a multi-tonal combination of colors, this powder foundation balances out the skin and brightens the complexion. Being such a fan of powder foundations, I love finding great new products that even out the skin tone and still give the appearance of not wearing makeup. This foundation offers a silky smooth texture but matches best, for us Fair girls, when the skin boasts a bit of color. Also, if you do have dry skin, don’t skimp on your hydration spray, since this is a powder product.
BareMinerals “True Romantic Collection” Blush – A blush that is truly swoon worthy. Blush is one of those products that really gives you healthier looking skin. A fresh flush on the cheeks gives any face a look of radiance. I am such a big of blush for this exact reason and when I discovered Swoon it was love at first sight. The packaging is gorgeous with its shiny gold lid and pink lettering. The shade is perfect for most skin tones and even though I have yellow undertones, this pink petal blush is one I will keep going back for.
NARS Illuminator – A reflecting illuminator that lights the skin from within. This highlighter, Orgasm, has great lasting power since it is a liquid. It is a pretty pink shade but dries to a nude with the prettiest shimmer of peach and gold. It can be easy to waste a lot of this product, however, since it comes out quickly so care has to be taken each time you use it.
NARS Lipstick – The perfect orange lipstick for this Spring! Orange lips are so in right now and Heatwave is the perfect shade to help you transition into the trend. It’s a shade that leans towards a red-orange instead of yellow-orange so it’s the perfect shade for the everyday girl. It is a semi-matte lipstick with a velvety finish and has the lasting power of an all-day wear. I talked more about this lipstick in the Ultimate Orange Lipstick Guide along with 4 other great shades.

The concealer setting powder and multi-tone powder foundation are something I definitely need to invest in! I’m part of the fair skin club over here, haha.
I love that shade of NARS lipstick!
Great picks. c:
