There are so many rules when it comes to getting dressed that it can be hard trying to remember them all. No black with brown, black with navy, or red with pink. In a normal situation it would seem that a coral colored skirt paired with a pink shirt would be one of those ultimate no-no’s.

There really aren’t any rules when it comes to pairing certain colors and textures together. Navy and black look really great together and so does white after Labor Day! I had this eyelet skirt on my mind back in Spring and the neon rose color is so eye catching that it gives such a great pop of color. As I stared into the abyss that is my closet, attempting to get dressed, this thistle-print popover begged me to pair the two together. It felt as though I was breaking one of those unspoken rules of style but rules are meant to be broken so I was more than happy to oblige.
