I searched and searched and didn’t have any pictures to go along with this tutorial. I did this tutorial quite a while ago and wanted to edit the video before posting it but it’s too large for our little computer so I’m jut going to put it out there. It’s quite a long video and I jabber on and on quite a bit so don’t mind that. I hope you enjoy it!

Quote of the Day:

We’re sitting at the table and AJ is playing with a clothes pin.
AJ: “How much would you give me to put this on my nipple? . Would you lick the battery?”

Hey just to warn you, my card ran out of memory so the video just cuts out at the end but you just spray it with hairspray and smooth out your loose hairs. Hopefully the video is simple to understand and I know this look is on the easier side but I thought you’d enjoy seeing how I do my ponytail!

I am helplessly craving some really yummy granola right about now. I think granola is so perfect when it’s cold outside and winter has set in. One year for Christmas, each of my family members got their own bag of granola. It was one of the best things I think Santa ever gave me. The moment I saw it I wanted to forget about the rest of the unwrapped gifts and go pour myself a bowl of it. I knew my bag would be one of the first ones empty and I savored every minute of it’s goodness.
Wouldn’t it be so gorgeous to give as a gift this year? I am seriously considering it.

Cinnamon Granola Recipe

add to large bowl:

2 cups rolled oats
2 cups rolled wheat (found in the bulk section of health food stores. you could also use more rolled oats or rolled rye)
2 cups puffed wheat (unsweetened)
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup chopped almonds
1/2 cup ground flax seed
1/2 cup wheat germ
3/4 c pure maple syrup (not the fake stuff)
1/3 c coconut oil, in liquid form
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp cinnamon
pinch of salt
mix all ingredients until well coated.
Spread out onto two lined baking sheets, and bake at 300° for 30-45°, until oats are browned and crispy.
Make sure to rotate the pans and give them a few good shakes during the baking process.

My go-to lip color without fail has always been chapstick. I know, I haven’t ever really been brave enough to explore lipstick. For starters, they usually have a very distinct smell that I can’t get past. However, these lovely lip colors, two being glosses, smell and taste lovely. With the Christmas season rolling in I really wanted to try the dreaded red lipstick. So many people wear it so I figured I really ought to just give it a try, right? What do you think?
What’s your favorite go-to lip color?

I literally walked upstairs in this outfit laughing so hard because these jeans are too big. They’re a whole size too big and I can pull them clean off without unbuttoning them. I even safety pinned the hems back so they’d be tighter around my ankles. I wore them because her jeans look baggy and I couldn’t find baggy jeans without going up a size. Is that weird?

I do love this shirt. It’s Diesel from Downeast and thought I’d hit the jackpot when I bought it. I realize my lighting is so horrendous you can’t even see the details but it buttons up the front and has a tie around the waste. It was the closest thing I owned to her lovely tie shirt. These boots are Steve Madden ankle boots and I love them. I don’t wear them often enough so I thought I’d throw them in here.

Next time I’ll take my pics in the morning so hopefully the detailing will be easier to see.

Opinions? Would you copy this outfit?
