Braided Updo and Flower Crown features a lace braids on each side of the part that connect into french braids and finish in a braided bun. The flower crown was added to give the look a more feminine touch and I really love how it turned out. The perfect kind of looselyΒ braided updo.

Braid 12-French Braid and Four Strand Side Braid is a spin-off of theΒ Front French Braid that I feel like was done ages ago.

This style features a french braid that is a little off-center, similar to the Mohawk Dutch Braid, but finishes in a four-strand braid with a single braid going down the center. It may look tricky but placing a braid right down the center is quite simple. Simply braid one of the four strands into a single braid and voila! you have got a chic four-strand braid unlike any other.

Follow these steps to complete the look!
Step 1 / Start by pulling all the hair over the left shoulder.
Step 2 / Next, take a section of hair at the hairline and divide it into three pieces.
Step 3 / Cross the sides of the middle.
Step 4 / Cross the front side over and bring in a section.
Step 5 / Cross the back side over and bring in a section.
Step 6 / Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the braid reaches the nape of the neck but leaving out one last section of hair on the inside.
Step 7 / Braid the french braid down a little bit farther and tie it off.
Step 8 / Take the one section left out and braid it down into a regular braid.
Step 9 / Next, take out the french braided portion so there are now four strands.
Step 10 / Complete a four-stranded braid by cross the outside strand under the strand next to it (working towards the neck) and then over the strand next to that.
Step 11 / Then, take the strand closest to the neck and cross it over the strand to the left and then under the strand next to that.
Step 12 / Repeat steps 10 and 11 until the braid reaches the end of the hair.
Step 13 / Tie off the braid with a hair tie and gently loosen the sides to create a larger braid.
Done! A side or front french braid into a four-stranded side braid with a braid going down the center!

Braid 11-Half Up French Braids is something I have been wanting to put up as a tutorial for a while now. I tried it first as lace braids but liked the look of French braids more instead. I know this hairstyle would be gorgeous with dutch braids as well so look for that tutorial because I am sure I will end up doing it soon!

Half Up French Braids

Here are the steps for creating this funΒ hairstyle for summer.
