Boyfriend jeans have always been one of my favorite things to wear. It’s so easy to feel frumpy though in an oversized pair of jeans. To dress them up, I love to pair mine with a feminine top and heels to feel more put together. I love the casual vibes of this style and think boyfriend jeans can be styled so many different ways!
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now you know I am obsessed with lacy, frilly tops. I didn’t always love them though. In fact, growing up I preferred to dress exactly like my brothers in boy tees and cargo pants. Nowadays, I can’t seem to fill my closet with enough girly blouses! Also, these heels go with literally everything; a great shoe for Spring and Summer!
Happy Monday! The weather here in Arizona has been absolutely perfect lately. This sheer sweater has been such a great transitional piece with the warmer weather. Not to mention I am completely obsessed with the color. I have been filling my closet with soft pastel shades for the upcoming Spring season. It’s easily one of my favorite seasons to dress for. Sadly, this sweater is already sold out but I found a similar one and there are so many other cute sweaters to choose from too. Pair any cute top with white denim and it’s one of the easiest ways to make your outfit more suitable to Spring!
We’re home from our trip and it’s so weird being back. This morning I was getting breakfast together and it felt like we’d never left. I love going somewhere new though because routines can feel so stale after a while and a quick trip always helps me feel refreshed. Part way through the drive I turned to AJ and said I was having so much fun. He thinks it’s so strange but I really love road trips. Driving in the car has always been so fun to me.
Black has always held a special place in my heart. It’s so sleek and never goes out of style. Mixing textures and pattern is a great way to keep an all black outfit from feeling flat. I love this lace top because it looks so classy but wears like a casual top. I paired this look with neutral accessories but I think keeping it all black would’ve been so chic too. What do you think? Would you style it with a neutral heel and bag, keep it all black, or add a pop of color? xo, M

This past weekend we took a quick trip up to Utah to go snowboarding with my sisters. I have been wanting to go all season long but since we live in Arizona, we hadn’t been able to work it into our schedule. Fortunately, some things came up with family and overnight it seemed AJ had work off and we were packing up the car. It was such a blast to spend time with family and Cohen did so great with his babysitter while we hit the slopes.
Utah was freezing of course, but this fun jacket has been so perfect for the mild weather in Arizona. I love wearing jackets in a cute color because they really add something extra to a casual outfit. Wearing heeled booties has also been my thing this season because they instantly make me feel a little more dressed up. Since a lot of the time I have on a more casual outfit, leggings and a sweatshirt, it’s definitely fun to throw on cute booties every now and then; even if it’s just to get some errands done.
