It’s officially Summer here in Arizona! The high was 98 today and we took the cover off the pool yesterday. I absolutely love it. Moving from Mississippi, this place feels like a vacation location. My mom was telling me today how sad she’ll be when we move because it always looks so beautiful in pictures on snapchat. She’s right and I think I need to convince AJ to find his next job on the west coast because I don’t think I could handle moving anywhere else.
Speaking of which, I was so excited to wear this top because I thought it was so cute and casual. Needless to say, I was getting so hot while snapping these pictures that I had to change once we were done. The material is a lot thicker than you’d expect! It wear so comfortably though, so if you’re still experiencing the transition into warmer weather then I’d definitely recommend it.

Boyfriend jeans have always been one of my favorite things to wear. It’s so easy to feel frumpy though in an oversized pair of jeans. To dress them up, I love to pair mine with a feminine top and heels to feel more put together. I love the casual vibes of this style and think boyfriend jeans can be styled so many different ways!
If you’ve been reading my blog for a while now you know I am obsessed with lacy, frilly tops. I didn’t always love them though. In fact, growing up I preferred to dress exactly like my brothers in boy tees and cargo pants. Nowadays, I can’t seem to fill my closet with enough girly blouses! Also, these heels go with literally everything; a great shoe for Spring and Summer!

Happy Monday! The weather here in Arizona has been absolutely perfect lately. This sheer sweater has been such a great transitional piece with the warmer weather. Not to mention I am completely obsessed with the color. I have been filling my closet with soft pastel shades for the upcoming Spring season. It’s easily one of my favorite seasons to dress for. Sadly, this sweater is already sold out but I found a similar one and there are so many other cute sweaters to choose from too. Pair any cute top with white denim and it’s one of the easiest ways to make your outfit more suitable to Spring!

We’re home from our trip and it’s so weird being back. This morning I was getting breakfast together and it felt like we’d never left. I love going somewhere new though because routines can feel so stale after a while and a quick trip always helps me feel refreshed. Part way through the drive I turned to AJ and said I was having so much fun. He thinks it’s so strange but I really love road trips. Driving in the car has always been so fun to me.
Black has always held a special place in my heart. It’s so sleek and never goes out of style. Mixing textures and pattern is a great way to keep an all black outfit from feeling flat. I love this lace top because it looks so classy but wears like a casual top. I paired this look with neutral accessories but I think keeping it all black would’ve been so chic too. What do you think? Would you style it with a neutral heel and bag, keep it all black, or add a pop of color? xo, M
