Hi Missy, tons of your tutorials have helped me. Just one question, how do you get no-heat curls?

  3. November 29, 2016 / 8:04 AM

    Hi Missy!
Good Morning! I love your videos and bought your book. We use your videos and book all the time for training classes at the salon. That leads to me to this question, do you offer in salon classes. We would love to for to come to our salon and teach our girls. Could you email me back with information about how we could arrange that and your fees. We so hope this something that we could make happen.

Hi Missy Sue! Huge (new) fan here. I am terrible at doing hair. I can’t even get the hang of french braids! My daughter is almost 5 and will be starting kindergarten this month. I’d like to be able to do fun cute things with her long, beautiful curly/wavy hair other than a ponytail or pig tails. I’m just so unskilled…. it’s a disaster. I love the styles and tutorials you do, but some of them are way too advanced for me. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Morning Missy Sue;

    I LOVE getting your tutorials!!!!

I did the ‘double messy buns’ that was in yesterdays tutorial. Whereas I’m happy with the results, they are no where near as pretty as yours (wish I could send you a picture). Can you please do another tutorial of how you do your messy buns, but do a close up of your hands, and possibly in slow motion I know this sounds silly, but I just can ‘get’ how you do your messy buns! I keep re-playing your video, but the whole “hand, wrap around elastic” coordinated move just baffles me. I’m definitely feeling uncoordinated when I try your messy bun maneuver.

I’m Sabrina. I found your blog on Pinterest and from then on I follow you and your wonderful hairstyles. I’m Italian girl (sorry in advance for my english) with medium-long curly hair. I need your help!!! On August I will take part in a medieval reconstruction and I will perform an important medieval queen. I need your help or suggestion for a hairstyle perfect for my curly hair, considering that I will wear a crown. I love so much side braid and mermaid braid. I hope in your reply. Thanks!

Hello Missy Sue. I am Ada. I have no idea how I had not discovered your blog before but I am obsessed. Girl you can do it all: stunningly beautiful hairstyles, pretty and flawless makeup looks and dress so casually chic and elegant. I seriously love it all and I just signed up for your newsletter.

I am horrible when it comes to hair. I feel like I have long lifeless hair and would love to learn a few simple hairdos, braids and buns myself. I hope this blog will help me. Not only do you have gorgeous hair but you style it so pretty, girly, impeccably. Are you a hair-dresser? Also, your adorable son is such a cutie. I am a new mom myself. My little girl just turned three.

You have got a brand-new HUGE follower and would love for you to check out my blog and support me too by following. Thank you. I literally just pinned a lot of your outfits and hairdos. I love them all!! =))

Have a great evening beautiful Missy Sue! <3 Ada.

Hi there…what kind of camera do you use for your picture and videos?

  11. November 24, 2015 / 11:56 AM

A friend of mine just asked me to help her finding the perfect hairstyle for her wedding. I immediately thought of your website and recommended her to check it out. We found a great option for this wonderful day of hers. I love reading your blog and can’t wait to come and check for my own wedding!

    Hi Missy!
I really like all your hair tutorials and especially the updos, but my problems is that I have a long, thick hair and the bun just falls down because the hair is too heavy. Do you have any idea how to do updos with heavy hair?

  13. October 15, 2015 / 10:27 AM

Missy! You are fabulous. I’d love to send you something from my boutique. Feel free to browse the site and let me know if this is something you would be interested in.

Homecoming is coming up and I was looking here for updo ideas. I thought of a new style should do a tutorial on. You should combine the French lace braid updo with the criss cross loop braid so instead of having the French lace braid you should substitute the loop braid in for it. I think it would make a really great and unique updo that no one has ever seen before.

    Hi Missy,
It’s me again! I just wanted to say that my hair are Black in colour. So whenever I try your hairstyle on my hair, they are not visible because of the dark colour. So can you please show tutorials about cute and easy hairstyles on ‘Black Medium Length-ed Hair’? :)
    Thanks again!

    Hi Melissa,
I saw many of your hairstyle tuttorials and I really loved them. I am a hairstyle lover (although I’m just thirteen but) I am always looking for new hairstyles for daily routine, school and anywhere I have to go. I saw one of you ‘Crown- Braid’ type of hairstyle today aand me and my mom really loved it! There is a cultural event after two days in my country and I am totally gonna wear that hairstyle!
So, the next, important thing is that I really love your hair and I want tips for having cute hairs like yours naturally, like silky and sraight but wavy from the tips. So can you please give me some tips and please avoid telling the use of heat products!
    Thankyou for the help :)

    Hi Missy,
Could you post something about your haircare routine? Specifically, how often do you wash your hair and how do you deal with greasy hair?

Hi Missy! I love both your hair and makeup tutorials. My mom wasn’t really that into hair and makeup so I didn’t learn to do either until my twenties. :) I have a question. Since your natural hair is quite long now, how do you deal with it at night? If I leave mine down, it gets very tangled. Mine is also very heavy so I have to be careful it doesn’t pull in any weird places and give me a headache. I’ve favored mohawk buns, french braids, etc. but I am ALWAYS looking for new ideas. Thanks for sharing your talents with those of us that are beauty skill challenged. :)

      • September 16, 2015 / 5:35 PM

I usually do a bun on top of my head. I also sleep on a silk or satin pillow case. These are nice and slippery so your hair won’t snag (:

    Hi Missy!
I have been trying to get better at makeup and trying to find the best products. I really trust your expertise, and I’m a college student so I would like to not have to spend a lot of money testing out a lot of expensive products. I was wondering if you could put together a list of your must-haves makeup for Dry skin, Lots of your videos use a variety of products, but I can’t buy all of them! A list of the best brushes would be amazing too!

    Hello Melissa,

I have a question about the curling iron 1″ and 1 1/4″. Can you tell me from which brand they are and where I can find them? It would be very nice if you could tell me the website where I can order one of those.

I have long and straight hair and thats why I thought about the 1″ curling iron. You said you like the 1 1/4″ most. Do you think the 1″ curling iron is better for keeping the curls longer? Thats a very important aspect for me because of my straight hair. Maybe you could help me with that question. What heat protection do you use for your hair that it doesn´t get damaged?

    Thanks for your help!
    Bye Natascha

    • August 23, 2015 / 5:21 PM

Hi Natascha, The 1″ is from Hot Tools and you can find it at Sallys Beauty Supply. The 1 1/4″ is Conair and is sold at Walmart or Target. Yes, the 1″ would work better for your hair. I love the Tresemme Heat Protectant spray. It is sold at all major grocery stores. Hope this helps! xo, Missy
