bare-minerals-rescue-ultaSummer is right around the corner (May is almost over!) and with that comes days at the beach, lounging poolside and sunny, hot days. I recently picked up Complexion Rescue by Bare Minerals and have been using it every single day, literally dying over here to share with you this fabulous new Summer makeup must-have.

ulta-bare-minerals-rescue-creamAll through the heat of the summer I love keeping my makeup light and airy and this tinted moisturizer is a skin lifesaver! I have the driest of dry skin and finding a great makeup base is always a struggle. Not only is this gel cream moisturizing, but it also provides anti-aging sun protections (SPF 30!), double yes please!

It’s light, natural looking coverage is perfect through the warmer months and even better if you prefer a sheer, translucent coverage for already-great skin.

If you have combination or oily skin, it might be a little too moisturizing but nothing a bit of powder can’t combat in those shine-prone zones.

To achieve a layer of sheer coverage, I buffed a quarter-sized amount of Complexion Rescue onto my face with a flat top foundation brush in swift, circular motions. If I need a little extra coverage under my eyes or on a blemish, I dab a dot on top with my finger. I loved how quickly I could see a difference in my skin, less dull and more luminous. A makeup must-have all year round!
