It is my absolute favorite time of year and with that comes the ever chic Fall fashion. Today I am sharing some recent favorites that are perfect for layering! I love changing up my wardrobe once the weather dips and the cooler air sets in. Layering lighter-weight pieces with cozy knits is one of my favorite ways to accommodate the heating indoors and the crisp weather outside.
During this season I also love changing up my color palette and opting for more brown, red, and navy blue tones. They emit the seasonal changes while still being perfect for mixing and matching with other pieces. With all the layering going on, bulkiness can become a problem. To abstain from developing a frump I make sure my first layers fit well or are tailored so they don’t poke out or bulge. Then I like to keep the top pieces more loose so they can lay flat against the body.
I really love the “Add Another Log” cardigan because of its black and white pattern with pops of color throughout. It brings dimension to the piece while drawing the eye in. I also love the “Farm in Arm” cardigan for its chic print and tie front waist. The neutral tone of the sweater makes pairing it with any colored top a breeze.
Choosing a basic top, like the “Pam Breezely Tunic,” and pairing it with a fun patterned sweater or cardigan is the key to pulling off a stylish and trendy look this Fall. Finish it off with soft denim jeans, your favorite boots, and structured handbag for a ultra-chic ensemble.
