Creamy Tortellini Tomato Soup


1 pkg (9 oz) of cheese tortellini

2 (10 oz) cans of tomato soup
2 cups of chicken broth
2 cups of half-and-half cream
1 can diced Italian-style tomatoes
1 pkg Italian seasoning
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of onion powder
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (topping)
Directions: Add tomato soup, chicken broth, cream, tomatoes, and seasoning to a medium sauce pan. Heat over medium heat until bubbling. Add tortellini and simmer on medium-low heat for about 8-10 minutes. Serve warm, top with Parmesan cheese. Makes about 10 cups of soup. [adapted from this recipe]
